For this look I wanted to emphasize the fact that velvet is not just for Fall/Winter… It’s year round! Of course it needs to be styled properly to pull it off. Hence why I paired it with a short floral mini from H&M to show some leg and break up the heaviness of the velvet booties. Btw… I got these booties from Old Navy, YES, OLD NAVY {I was shocked myself when I laid eyes on them}! This Smak Parlour blush top was perfect for pulling some of the pinky tones in the skirt + I am a sucker for anything with ruffles and fun detail. I kept my jewelry pretty simple for this look since I already had a lot of other details going on.
This was a fun shoot I collaborated with the super talented and sweet photographer, @peaberryphoto in Old City, Philadelphia. She does some amazing work and is an expert in capturing those special moments in life. I highly recommend her for all your photography needs! Check her out on Instagram @peaberryphoto or her website www.peaberryphoto.com!
Unfortunately, the items I am wearing are sold out {eye roll}. So I went ahead and searched for some similar styles you can buy to create a similar look!
