6 SNEAKERS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT
Raise your hand if you opt for sneakers over heels since the pandemic? All of you? Okay great—then you are exactly where you need to be.
Remember when choosing to wear sneakers was choosing comfort over style? Now being comfortable and wearing sneakers is what’s in style.
Below, I curated a list of sneakers based on what is currently trending in footwear. I’ll be sharing everything from designer to affordable options to accommodate everyone’s budget or for the girl who loves mixing both high and low pieces {like me}.
Nikes
Keep yourself in check with these high top nikes. Pair them with everything from your favorite jogger set for a grocery store run to your favorite blazer and denim for the office. These are guaranteed to make you look fashion-forward with little effort.
2. Tory Burch
These Tory Burch trainers are the perfect blend of sporty-chic. From the color palette, to the luxury design—you can tell every detail was perfectly crafted. These are the ultimate sneakers you need to have on rotation this fall.
3. New Balance
Anyone else not see this comeback coming from New Balance? These were one of the first sneakers I added to my fall wardrobe. They are extremely comfortable if you are always on-the-go. They pair perfectly with all my denim, midi dresses, and loungewear. I personally love them in the rose water palette, I consider them a less boring neutral in my wardrobe.
Confession: back in the day, a guy showed up on a first date with NB on {when they weren’t cool} and I couldn’t see passed them— therefore, I never saw him again… Please tell me I am not the only person who has done that?
4. Converse
Platform Converse is a style that’s been around for a while, and they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. If you have been eyeing them up, just buy them already. These will transition into every season beyond fall.
5. Veja
Veja is an ethical brand made from recycled materials. They have grown their brand organically and are all about quality that will last for years. Please branch out from the neutrals and try a fun color combo—they have a ton of quirky palettes to choose from.
6. Golden Goose
Dear Santa {aka my husband}, please buy me a pair of Golden Goose for Christmas. You can blame my last trip to NYC, watching every other girl pass me in the Upper East Side wearing them. I was so close to buying on a pair in that moment. I kid you not, I passed a GG store but I couldn’t figure out how the door worked to get in {true story and probably the universe telling me to chill}. These are worth the splurge because they never go out of style and go with everything.
You can’t go wrong with any of the styles above. They’re versatile enough to be worn with anything.
